Stephen began his accountancy career back in 1973 at the ripe old age of 19 and first opened his practice in Cessnock in 1980. Some say Stephen was born to be an accountant, being born on the 1st of July, the first day of the new financial year.
Through an almost 50-year career, covering all facets of accounting and business, Stephen says that his proudest moment was “Watching his son take over the reins, seeing his passion for knowledge, business, and fresh ideas, and continually wanting to be better in an ever-changing landscape.” and states that this has re-ignited his own passion.
Affectionately known as “Grandy” too his 9 grandchildren ranging from ages 1 to 21 if he is not spending time with them during his downtime, you’ll find him taking short trips away with his wife in their campervan.
